About the Position
Nuffield Health is seeking a dedicated Biomedical Scientist – Blood Sciences to join our Pathology team at Oxford Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped pathology laboratory providing essential diagnostic services to patients. The position offers a competitive salary package of up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience, with a permanent contract for 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
As a Biomedical Scientist at our Oxford Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pathology services. Your key responsibilities will include completing your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service, performing biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables, and supporting the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures.

Essential: As a Biomedical Scientist at our Oxford Hospital, you’ll bring the relevant qualifications.
Experience
Essential: Laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.
