Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Community Liaison Worker to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $35.00 to $39.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will be based at our Scarborough campus located at M1X 0B6 in Toronto, Ontario. This on-site position requires regular attendance at our facility, with opportunities to engage with community partners and stakeholders across the Greater Toronto Area.
Role Responsibilities
As a Community Liaison Worker, you will play a crucial role in connecting our educational institution with the broader community. Your primary responsibilities will include administrative and office activities to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Client Services and Support
You will conduct follow-up assessments with students and community members to ensure their needs are being met and to identify areas for additional support. This involves developing, coordinating, and implementing specific services within the community that align with our institution’s mission and values.
Community Partnerships
A key aspect of this role involves liaising with other social service agencies and healthcare providers involved with our clients. You will build and maintain strong relationships with community agencies and partners, identifying additional or alternative services that can benefit our students and providing appropriate referrals.
