Our client, a bespoke catering brand, is looking to hire an Operations Manager who will oversee the organisation’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and seamless execution across all activities. This role bridges strategy and execution by managing systems, staff, inventory, and operational processes to maintain high-quality production while maximising productivity and profitability.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive, solution-oriented, and thrives in fast-paced environments with at least 5 years of professional experience.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement systems to monitor inventory, minimise waste, and ensure operational demands are consistently met
Oversee and coordinate daily operations to ensure seamless workflow and timely execution of tasks.
Plan projects, events, prep schedules, and operational timelines well in advance to avoid bottlenecks or last-minute disruptions.
Manage staff, including scheduling, delegation, performance monitoring, and team coordination
Provide real-time operational updates and prepare detailed weekly reports on performance and efficiency.
Identify operational challenges quickly and implement effective solutions without unnecessary escalation.
Ensure all operations maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, safety, and compliance.
Monitor supply levels and coordinate with vendors/suppliers to maintain adequate stock availability.
Continuously improve operational processes to increase productivity and enhance customer satisfaction.
Support the execution of special projects and large-scale operations as required.

Qualifications
B.Sc./M.Sc. in a business-related field or Master’s degree (MBA).
Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in operations management, preferably in retail or food manufacturing.
Ability to create and improve operational systems and workflows
Strong understanding of workplace hygiene, safety, and compliance standards
Budget awareness and cost management skills
Proficiency in reporting, scheduling, and operational planning
Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively prevent disruptions.
