Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Netcom Africa serves as a strategic advisor, aligning HR initiatives with the company’s business goals. A key focus of the role is to drive performance management processes, ensuring that employee performance aligns with organizational objectives. The HRBP will also support talent development, employee relations, and organizational development to create a high-performing and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management:
Lead the design and implementation of performance management frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Partner with managers to assess and enhance employee performance through regular reviews, feedback sessions, and developmental plans.
Provide coaching and support to leaders on setting performance goals, KPIs, and corrective actions when necessary.
Drive initiatives to foster a high-performance culture, including recognition programs and career development opportunities.
Talent Management & Development:
Collaborate with leadership to identify talent needs and build workforce strategies that ensure the right people are in place.
Lead initiatives for employee development, including training, leadership development, and succession planning.
Implement programs that promote career growth, internal mobility, and retention of top talent.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Address complex employee relations issues, mediating conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Foster a culture of engagement by supporting initiatives that improve employee morale, collaboration, and retention.
Provide counsel and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
Strategic HR Partnership:
Work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and operational needs.
Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, providing insights on HR matters such as organizational development, change management, and talent acquisition.
Leverage HR analytics and data to provide recommendations on workforce trends, retention, and performance improvements.
Change Management & Organizational Development:
Lead change management efforts, ensuring organizational initiatives are communicated and implemented effectively.
Partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement and efficiency within teams and across departments.
HR Policy & Compliance:
Ensure that HR practices at Netcom are compliant with relevant labor laws and regulations.
Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect the company’s values and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in an HRBP role, with strong expertise in performance management.
Proven ability to lead performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and coaching.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, talent development, and employee relations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use HR metrics and data to inform decisions.
