We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network administration and systems management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and business continuity across all systems and networks.
The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting abilities, enterprise infrastructure experience, and a solid understanding of networking, virtualization, security, and cloud technologies.
You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support day-to-day IT operations while driving infrastructure improvements aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Network Administration:
Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routing environments.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity or latency issues to minimize downtime.
Manage enterprise networking devices including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent).
Implement and enforce network security policies, ACLs, VLAN segmentation, and access controls.
Conduct routine network audits, firmware upgrades, capacity planning, and infrastructure documentation updates.
Ensure secure and reliable remote connectivity for hybrid or distributed work environments.
Systems Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux-based operating systems.
Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and user access management.
Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Perform system patching, monitoring, optimization, and performance tuning.
Support server migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure expansion projects.
IT Operations & Technical Support:
Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated infrastructure incidents and technical service requests.
Manage IT assets, hardware inventory, software licensing, and lifecycle tracking.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers regarding procurement, maintenance, SLAs, and renewals.
Participate in IT project implementation, change management activities, and periodic on-call support rotations.
Support end-user productivity and ensure timely resolution of infrastructure-related issues.
Security & Compliance:
Implement and manage endpoint protection, SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS solutions, and security monitoring tools.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate identified infrastructure risks.
Ensure compliance with internal security standards and relevant frameworks such as ISO 27001, NDPR, or GDPR.
Support incident response activities including root cause analysis and post-incident reporting.
Maintain secure access controls, authentication policies, and data protection measures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant professional certifications combined with strong practical experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Experience:
3–5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering roles.
Proven experience managing enterprise-level servers, networks, and virtualization environments.
Experience supporting multi-site or 100+ user environments is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Networking:
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, QoS, and VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL).

Linux administration (Ubuntu/RHEL)
PowerShell and Bash scripting
Virtualization:
VMware ESXi/vCenter
Microsoft Hyper-V

Hybrid cloud networking and infrastructure integration
Monitoring & Security Tools:
PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or equivalent monitoring solutions
SIEM and endpoint security platforms
Storage & Backup:
SAN/NAS administration
RAID configuration
Backup solutions such as Veeam or Backup Exec
Preferred Certifications:
CompTIA Network+ or Security+
Cisco CCNA or CCNP
Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, MCSA, or MCSE
VMware VCP-DCV
ITIL Foundation Certification
Certifications in progress will also be considered.
