We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our secondary school team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in English Language and Literature.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the school curriculum
Teach English Language and Literature to secondary school students
Assess, record, and report on students’ academic performance and progress
Prepare students for internal and external examinations
Develop instructional materials and lesson plans
Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment
Provide guidance and support to students to enhance learning outcomes
Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Education, or a related field
A teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, B.Ed, or equivalent).
Strong command of spoken and written English
Good classroom management and communication skills
Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
