Schedule
This position offers flexibility in scheduling, with work available during early morning, morning, day, and weekend shifts. The exact schedule will be determined based on project requirements and client needs, offering work-life balance while ensuring operational efficiency. Weekend availability may be required to accommodate client installations and service calls.
Responsibilities
The Security Systems Technicians Supervisor will have diverse responsibilities including:
Technical Supervision
Supervise security systems technicians and ensure all installations and maintenance work are performed to company standards and client specifications. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, assigning tasks, and providing technical guidance to team members.
Project Management
>Coordinate and schedule activities for multiple security system installation projects. This includes planning project timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. You will monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during project execution.
Staff Management
>Recruit and hire qualified security systems technicians and carry out all related staffing actions. You will be responsible for training new employees, conducting performance evaluations, and making recommendations for promotions, disciplinary actions, or terminations as needed.
Financial Oversight
>Estimate costs and materials for security system projects to ensure accurate pricing and budget management. You will prepare quotes for clients, track project expenses, and ensure all financial documentation is maintained properly.
Compliance and Safety
>Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed in the workplace. This includes implementing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring all team members adhere to established safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Documentation
>Prepare production and other reports as required, including daily work summaries, project completion reports, and performance metrics. You will maintain accurate records of all installations, service calls, and inventory levels.
Technical Expertise
>Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for various security systems. This includes understanding system layouts, component specifications, and installation requirements to ensure proper implementation and functionality.
Team Leadership
>Provide leadership and instruction to individuals, with a focus on mentoring and developing the skills of 1 to 2 team members. You will create a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork.
Qualifications and Requirements
