Jacksonville, Florida, Job Summary Baptist is hiring for a Psych Provider Assistant for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department. This is a Full Time Days position working Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm located at Baptist Medical Center Downtown. The Psych Provider Assistant (PPA) will support the Behavioral Health Department by directly assisting the provider and front desk staff. This position requires an individual who can multitask and obtains excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills and a previous experience in clerical work. Psych Provider Assistant, Job Responsibilities: The direct assistant to the psych provider. Manages all administrative duties for the psychiatrist. Performs similar functions for the non-psychiatrist providers as needed. Dually trains as an office specialist and has knowledge of the billing and scheduling job codes. Ensures that the office runs smoothly and without disruption.
