Patient Placement Coordinator | Phoenix Children’s
Phoenix, Arizona, Position Summary This position is accountable for coordination and acceptance of information regarding direct admissions and transfers to Phoenix Children’s. Responsibilities also include coordinating all aspects of patient placement within the facilities, and partnering with nursing and other clinical operation departments to facilitate patient access, throughput, and capacity. Education Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required) Bachelor`s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred) Experience Two years Clinical RN experience. (Required) Pediatric experience. (Required) Certifications Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required) Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required) Current PALS certification. (Preferred)
