Key Responsibilities
As a Web Developer at Toronto Infotech Inc, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites that meet client needs and business objectives. Your duties will include consulting with clients to develop and document website requirements, designing and integrating website-related code, and determining hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance.
Core Development Tasks
You will write, modify, and test website-related code, ensuring all technical aspects of the website function smoothly. This includes maintaining existing computer programs by making modifications as required and communicating technical problems, processes, and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Client Collaboration
The role requires excellent communication skills to consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support. You will assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, ensuring that the final product meets client expectations and industry standards.
Content and Design
You will source, select, and organize information for inclusion in websites, designing the appearance, layout, and flow of the site. Additionally, you will create and optimize content for websites using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software to enhance user experience.
Technical Specifications and Testing
As part of your responsibilities, you will assist in the development of logical and physical specifications for web projects. You will also conduct thorough tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure that all websites are secure, functional, and meet performance standards.
Documentation
