Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operations
You will be expected to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks with various configurations, including extended length tractor-trailer combinations and straight trucks weighing 4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles. This requires a high level of skill, concentration, and knowledge of different vehicle types and handling characteristics. You must be able to adapt to different road conditions, weather scenarios, and traffic situations while maintaining safe driving practices at all times.
Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections
A critical aspect of this position is conducting thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of your vehicle. These inspections are essential for ensuring road safety, regulatory compliance, and the proper functioning of all vehicle components. You will be responsible for documenting your findings in detailed inspection reports and driver logbooks, maintaining accurate records of all vehicle inspections, maintenance, and operational activities.
Loading and Unloading
