Job Overview

We are seeking experienced automotive body painters to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation at $37.00 per hour. Compensation and Benefits

Working Conditions

Key Responsibilities

As an automotive body painter, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs based on damage examination reports and planning the repair work to be performed. Your duties will include replacing front end components, body components, doors, frame and underbody components as needed. You will file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, and mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting. Applying primers and repainting surfaces, mixing paint, blending and matching colors, and operating soldering equipment or using plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams are all essential parts of this role.

Repair Planning and Estimation

You will play a crucial role in the repair process by examining damaged vehicles and creating detailed repair plans. This involves identifying all necessary repairs, estimating time and material requirements, and providing accurate cost estimates to customers and insurance companies.
