As a Completions and Well Intervention (CWI) Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, planning, and execution of Completions and Well Intervention activities across the SNEPCO portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
You will lead all aspects of completion/intervention maturation and delivery within Shell’s Global Well Delivery Process (GWDP), including front-end concept identification and detailed design, execution planning, 3rd party contractor management/coordination, performance management and continuous improvement, regulatory engagement, and HSSE leadership.

What you bring
5+ years’ experience in well engineering/operations with emphasis on completions & well intervention, plus a degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or similar technical discipline
Experience utilizing completion/tubing design software, with strong capability in multi-disciplinary project delivery
Demonstrated effective stakeholder management skills across internal and external parties
Maturation of competitive completion/intervention designs aligned with all Shell internal/external standards, requirements, and process controls
Implementation of robust risk management processes, including risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning in line with the Shell risk framework
Preparation of detailed cost and time estimates, disciplined tracking of performance metrics, and development of detailed execution programs in collaboration with operations teams
Coordination of technical inputs for regulatory submissions and permitting, management of post-well handover documentation to production, and conducting post-job after-action reviews with improvement plans
Driving performance improvement initiatives and global best practices, while collaborating with Contracts & Procurement to establish competitive contract structures, ensure resource availability, lead contractor performance management, uphold HSSE excellence (including incident investigations and gap closure), and support external technical engagement with co-venture partners across the SNEPCO portfolio
