Rosemary Ihuoma Okereke (Rio) Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 in Nigeria, our mission is to empower individuals and communities to reach their full potential in an ever changing world through literacy initiatives and health programs.Job Summary
The Programs Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Programs Team. This role is designed to offer hands-on experience in NGO program implementation, monitoring, reporting, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and implementing program activities.
Support data collection, entry, and analysis for ongoing projects.
Support with preparing reports, presentations, and program documentation.
Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and community events.
Conduct basic research and compile background information for proposals.
Support field visits and beneficiary engagement when required.
Perform general administrative duties for the Programs Team.
Maintain program files and records.
Qualifications & Experience
Undergraduate or recent graduate in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, Education, or a related field.
Strong interest in the non-profit / development sector.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team.
