We are looking for a responsible Pool Attendant to maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant swimming pool environment.
The attendant will be responsible for basic pool and deck maintenance, assisting guests, and ensuring that all pool users follow safety rules.
Key Responsibilities
Keep the swimming pool, pool deck, and surrounding areas clean and free of debris.
Remove leaves, dirt, and other contaminants from the pool water using manual tools or basic equipment.
Arrange and tidy pool loungers, umbrellas, and other pool furniture before and after use.
Distribute and collect towels, and ensure towel racks and storage areas are neat.
Monitor swimmers and enforce basic pool rules (e.g., no running, no diving in shallow areas).
Check and report any faults in pool equipment, leaks, or damaged tiles/fittings to the supervisor.
Assist with basic water‑quality checks (e.g., observing clarity, reporting strong chemical smells) if required.
Pick up litter, empty trash bins, and help keep restrooms and changing areas clean.
Provide friendly and courteous service to guests, answering simple questions about pool hours and rules.
Requirements
1–2 years of experience as a pool attendant, lifeguard, or in hospitality (if available) is an advantage (not mandatory).
Ability to work outdoors in heat and humidity.
Basic understanding of pool safety and cleanliness.
Honest, reliable, and respectful of guests’ privacy.
Good communication skills in English and the local language(s).
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, bend, and lift light loads (e.g., towels, cleaning tools).
