Job Summary:
The Medical Sales Representative (MSR) is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration of pharmaceutical products within an assigned territory by selling to pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, and clinics.
Identify and develop new customers within the territory.
Maintain strong relationships with pharmacists and key accounts.
Conduct regular customer visits and ensure product availability.
Execute promotional activities and support product launches.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Submit regular sales and market intelligence reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Sciences, Marketing, or related field.
1–3 years’ sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals or FMCG.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of pharmacy distribution channels in Nigeria is an advantage.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
