VCGL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our technology team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software applications that support the company's business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate should be passionate about software development, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Develop and integrate APIs and third-party services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
Maintain technical documentation for applications and system architecture.
Work with DevOps teams to support software deployment and system monitoring.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
Ensure compliance with company security policies and software development standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, or TypeScript.
Experience with modern web frameworks such as .NET, Laravel, Node.js, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform is an advantage.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong understanding of software testing, debugging, and quality assurance principles.
