As a Service Engineer at SANY Nigeria, you will play a critical role in driving our after-sales excellence and technical support operations. Tailored to your specific regional deployment, you will oversee the installation, strategic maintenance, complex troubleshooting, and life-cycle management of SANY’s world-class heavy machinery specifically our advanced Excavators, Pump Trucks, or Cranes. This role demands elite technical acumen to maximize machine uptime, optimize fleet reliability, and uphold SANY's global standard of excellence for our premier clients across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning & Installation: Lead the seamless assembly, precision calibration, and commissioning of SANY heavy machinery (Excavators, Pump Trucks, or Cranes) at client sites according to rigorous manufacturer benchmarks.
Diagnostics & High-Level Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced diagnostic software and tools to identify, analyze, and resolve complex failures across hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Formulate and execute robust preventive maintenance schedules and rapid emergency repairs to eliminate operational downtime for clients in high-pressure industries.
Technical Consultation: Serve as the technical authority on-site, advising operators and corporate clients on optimal machine utilization, safety frameworks, and preventative care.
Reporting & Analytics: Maintain flawless technical records, drafting detailed failure analysis reports, parts consumption metrics, and machine performance summaries to drive continuous product optimization.
Position-Specific Requirements
Kano & Lagos (Excavator Specialists): Deep technical mastery of large-scale tracked and wheeled excavators, high-pressure main pumps, control valves, and heavy-duty structural attachments.
Lagos (Concrete Pump Truck Specialist): Specialized expertise in concrete machinery, truck chassis mechanics, complex pumping systems, boom hydraulics, and remote-control electronics.
Port Harcourt (Crane Specialist): Elite proficiency in mobile, crawler, or terrain cranes, load moment indicators (LMI), intricate winch systems, telescoping hydraulics, and strict lifting safety systems.
Qualifications & Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive field service experience handling premium heavy earthmoving equipment, concrete machinery, or lifting equipment.
Exceptional grasp of modern electro-hydraulic systems, heavy-duty transmissions, and electronic control units (ECUs).
Exemplary client-facing communication, emotional intelligence, and a problem-solving mindset suited for elite corporate accounts.
Willingness to travel regionally and adapt to flexible field schedules to support continuous client operations.
