AI Laboratory Attendant at KNOSK Charity Secondary School

KNOSK N100/25cents A-Day Charity Secondary School is designed to enable children from poorest households, underserved communities and out-of-school children, especially girls to access and complete quality secondary school education that improves prospects of furthering their education and creating sustainable livelihood that enables them break the cycle of generational poverty.Location: Kuje, Abuja

We are seeking a responsible, organised, and tech-savvy AI Lab Attendant to support the smooth day-to-day operation of our AI Lab.

Key Responsibilities

Open, close, and maintain the AI Lab in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Monitor entry and exit and ensure that only authorised users access the facility.
Prepare the lab and equipment for classes, training sessions, workshops, and other activities.
Monitor the proper use and handling of computers, devices, furniture, and other lab resources.
Report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment promptly.
Support basic setup and troubleshooting of computers, internet connectivity, and other lab equipment.
Maintain records of lab usage, equipment, incidents, and maintenance needs.
Ensure that users comply with the lab\'s rules, safety procedures, and acceptable-use policies.
Coordinate routine cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
Assist students, teachers, and visitors with basic use of the lab where necessary.
Carry out other duties related to the effective operation of the AI Lab as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO; OND/NCE or higher in ICT, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of computers and common digital tools.
Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to monitor and care for equipment responsibly.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
Ability to work independently and maintain the lab without constant supervision.
Previous experience working in a computer lab, ICT centre, school, or similar environment is an advantage.

You do not necessarily need to be an AI expert; the ability to maintain the space, support users, protect equipment, and ensure the lab is always ready for use is essential.
