Are you an experienced contracts professional with expertise in contract strategy, commercial negotiations, contractor management, and contract administration? We are looking for a strategic professional to support major project contracting activities and drive effective commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Contracting & Materials Management Strategies aligned with project objectives
Support Contracting Strategy Workshops and evaluate contracting alternatives
Lead/support contractor screening, pre-qualification, and bid slate development
Review bid plans, evaluation criteria, and contract award recommendations
Provide strategic oversight of complex contract administration matters, including claims and incentive plans
Support contract planning, development, and administration activities
Mentor and develop contracts, EPC, procurement, and materials management professionals
Deliver training on contracting processes, bid reviews, and contract strategy
Engage contractor executives, partners, and affiliate contracting teams on strategic issues
Promote lessons learned, process improvements, and best practices
Support organizational competency and contracting systems/process improvement
Requirements
Proven experience in contracts engineering, contract administration, or materials management
Experience in project leadership and major project management
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred
Strong understanding of project execution and contracting principles
Expertise in commercial negotiations, contractor management, and contract administration
Experience with owner/operator project management environments
Management experience on major projects
Knowledge of company controls, standards, and contracting requirements
Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Willingness to travel or relocate to domestic/overseas project sites
