Lead and coordinate corporate communications and external affairs activities to protect and strengthen WAEP's reputation, ensure consistent stakeholder messaging, support business objectives and maintain effective engagement with media, industry and other external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement corporate communications and external affairs strategies aligned with WAEP's business objectives.

Manage corporate messaging, communications, press releases, publications, speeches and official announcements.
Build and maintain productive relationships with media, industry bodies and relevant external stakeholders.
Manage corporate reputation, media monitoring, issues management and crisis communications.
Coordinate digital communications, website content and approved social-media communications.
Develop communication plans for major projects, operational milestones, corporate events and stakeholder engagements.
Ensure consistency of corporate identity, brand standards and approved messaging across communication channels.
Advise Executive Management on communication risks, stakeholder perceptions and reputation- management priorities.
Coordinate internal communications with relevant functions to promote accurate and timely information flow.
Manage communications agencies, vendors, budgets performance reporting and communication effectiveness measurement.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
Minimum 10-15 years' relevant corporate communications, public affairs or external affairs experience, preferably within oil and gas, energy or another highly regulated industry.
Relevant professional membership/certification in public relations, communications, marketing or related disciplines is strongly preferred.
