Key Responsibilities
As Consultant in Paediatric Allergy, you will:
Lead multidisciplinary allergy clinics for complex cases
Manage desensitisation programmes for food and drug allergies
Provide peri-anaesthetic allergy services
Conduct weekly food and drug challenges
Deliver SCIT treatments for insect venom allergies
Conduct drug reaction evaluations
Joint clinics with ENT and Ophthalmology specialists
Essential Qualifications
Required:
MRCPCH by examination or equivalent
Full GMC registration
Specialist Register status or within 6 months of CCT
Enhanced DBS clearance
Level 3 Safeguarding certification
Desirable Qualifications
Preferred:
Higher degree in Paediatrics (MSc, MD, PhD)
NHS experience
Subspecialty experience
APLS certification
Research degree certification
Clinical Experience
Essential:
Equivalent to Highest Specialist Paediatric Training
Valid BLS certification
Effective communication skills

Valid Level 3 Safeguarding training
