As a Bank Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, working in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct. You will provide assessment, treatment, screening, and health education to our patients, working independently and alongside our team of nurses and GPs.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in smear testing, chronic disease management, asthma, diabetes, wound care, health screening, and risk assessment. As a clinical member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery and future development of the overall service, working towards the achievement of the Practice aims and objectives and supporting the delivery of the Practice business plan.
Key Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct
- Deliver assessment, treatment, screening, and health education services
- Work both independently and collaboratively with nurses and GPs
- Participate in smear testing, chronic disease management, asthma, and diabetes care
- Conduct wound care, health screening, and risk assessments
- Contribute to the safe and effective delivery of the overall service
- Support the achievement of Practice aims and objectives
- Contribute to the Practice business plan development

Location and Working Pattern
This position is based at our Hastings Primary Care Hub with flexible bank hours available. Professional Requirements
Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure, and two references. Applicants must have current UK professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
