North Kansas City, Missouri, SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department of Pharmacy management team, performs the functions of a pharmacist to ensure that the patient is provided quality pharmaceutical care. During this one-year experience the resident will predominantly rotate in the emergency department to gain specialized knowledge in emergency medicine clinical pharmacy. LICENSE/CERT: Required: Pharmacist – State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ACLS Instructor (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), PALS (Pediatric Life Support) EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors – Pharmacy
