OmniSeq by Labcorp is seeking a licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist (CLS/MLS/MLT/CLT) to join our Biopharma services team in Buffalo, NY . No previous molecular experience necessary.  Extensive hands-on training will be provided.  We’re offering the opportunity to work within a supportive, team-oriented, and engaging environment.  Apply now to make a tangible impact in the field of cancer diagnostics and treatment.  Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st shift (may later be 4 x10’s) PRIMARY DUTIES Support testing as part of clinical trial assays and contract research agreements. Process blood and tissue samples provided to the laboratory as needed for various projects. Perform macrodissection on FFPE. Record and analyze data to ensure QA/QC at each workflow step; ensures completeness and accuracy of data Extract and quantify RNA and DNA using manual and automated processes. Prepare extracted RNA and DNA to be tested with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). Perform NGS testing using manual and automated processes. Interact with other departments, collaborators, and clients in a professional manner. Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary. Maintain a clean, safe, well stocked work environment in accordance with molecular standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems for tracking and documenting patient samples and processes. Other duties as needed.? REQUIRED LICENSURE, EDUCATION Associates or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology or related discipline required Valid NYS professional license prior to starting           Pay Range:  $32.00 – $39.00 All job offers will be based on a candidate?s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
