This is a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will be employed on an ongoing basis with no fixed end date. The role is expected to begin as soon as possible following the hiring process. As a permanent employee, you will be entitled to all applicable statutory benefits and protections under Ontario employment standards legislation.
Key Responsibilities
As the Supply Chain Project Manager at Kids Zone Childcare Centre, you will be responsible for a wide range of analytical, managerial, and leadership duties. Below is a detailed breakdown of the core responsibilities associated with this role.
Managerial Analysis and Advisory
You will analyze and provide advice on the managerial methods and organization of the establishment. This includes evaluating current operational structures, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategic changes that enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Quality Assurance and Auditing
You will conduct quality audits and develop quality management and quality assurance standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Ensuring that all supply chain processes and organizational procedures meet established quality benchmarks is a critical part of this role.
Research and Policy Evaluation
You will conduct research to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of managerial policies and programs. This involves collecting and analyzing data, reviewing performance metrics, and preparing reports that inform senior leadership decisions about operational improvements.
Process Improvement and Re-organization
You will propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures, and plan the re-organization of operations where necessary. Your goal will be to streamline workflows, eliminate redundancies, and ensure that the centre’s supply chain and operational systems are operating at peak performance.
Staff Supervision and Development

Building a capable and motivated team is essential to the success of our operations. You will also oversee the development of communication strategies to ensure clear and effective information flow across all levels of the organization.
Knowledge Management
You will be responsible for managing organizational knowledge — ensuring that critical information, processes, and best practices are documented, shared, and maintained in accessible formats for current and future staff members.
