Compensation and Schedule

Education Requirements

Key Responsibilities
Medication Administration
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medications to patients according to established protocols and physician orders. Clinical Procedures

Monitoring and Assessment
You will be responsible for regularly monitoring patients’ vital signs, nutritional intake, and overall condition. Surgical Assistance
In certain settings, you may be called upon to provide technical assistance to surgical teams. This role requires precision, knowledge of sterile techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in surgical environments.
Pre and Post-Operative Care
You will provide essential pre-operative and post-operative personal care to patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity during vulnerable periods. This includes preparation before procedures and comprehensive care following surgeries, including monitoring for complications and supporting the recovery process.
Therapy Monitoring
Your duties will include monitoring established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy protocols. This requires careful attention to equipment function, patient responses, and documentation of therapeutic outcomes to ensure the effectiveness of these treatments.
Patient Education
A key aspect of your role will be providing safety and health education to patients and their families. This education helps empower patients to participate in their own care, understand their conditions, and make informed decisions about their health.
