Young Professional in Communication and Knowledge ManagementâÃÂïâÃÂï – Soil Values Program in Nigeria at International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC)

The successful candidate for this position will actively contribute to the implementation of the Soil Values Program's communication strategy covering Nigeria. They will also ensure compliance with established communication and Knowledge Management guidelines and procedures, working closely with the program teams.
Produce different formats and types of communication content (newsletters, articles, photos, videos, social media posts, visuals, etc.) on the program's activities;
Contribute to the organization and coverage of field activities,â¯eventsâ¯and workshops (shooting, interviews,â¯writingâ¯reports, reporting, etc.);
Support internal communication and Knowledge Management activities, popularization of agricultural technologies and media partnerships in Nigeria;
Participate in information monitoring on topics related to agriculture and agricultural policies in the Sahel.
Requirements
To be eligible to apply, candidate mustâ¯have the following qualifications:
Student or graduate in communication, journalism, publicâ¯relationsâ¯orâ¯marketing;
Strong interest in agricultural, environmental, climate and sustainable development issues;
Fluency in English and local languages is an asset;
Good writingâ¯skills and creativity in content production;
Knowledge of digital communication tools;
Basicâ¯proficiencyâ¯in multimedia production tools is an advantage;
Ability to work in the field, interact with communities and collect communication data;
Team spirit, initiative,â¯rigorâ¯and adaptability.
