They are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Executive to support the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services to clients while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review tax computations, returns, schedules, and supporting documentation.
Handle tax compliance activities, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, Companies Income Tax, and other applicable taxes.
Conduct tax research and provide support on tax advisory matters.
Assist with tax audits, investigations, and correspondence with relevant tax authorities.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
Review clients’ financial and accounting records to identify tax exposures, risks, and opportunities.
Support the preparation of tax advisory reports, opinions, and presentations.
Assist in responding to client tax queries and providing practical solutions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and documentation.
Work closely with senior team members on tax engagements and other assignments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, audit, or professional services.
Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of tax computations and statutory filings.
Must have ICAN, ACCA, CITN, or a related qualification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting/tax software.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
