The Sustainability Associate will be responsible for implementing and managing sustainability initiatives that minimize the plant’s environmental impact and support corporate sustainability goals.
This role will involve overseeing waste reduction, energy efficiency, water conservation, and pollution prevention efforts, as well as ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate is passionate about environmental stewardship and skilled at driving change within an industrial setting.

Job Objectives

Assist in collecting, analysing, and organizing data related to ESG metrics, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Help prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay up to date with ESG-related regulations and requirements.
Support the organization in maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting frameworks.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and engage with stakeholders regarding ESG initiatives.
Support the development of communication materials and strategies to promote ESG goals and progress.
Assist in managing ESG data systems, including data collection, verification, and documentation.
Establish and maintain data tracking processes to ensure consistent and reliable reporting. • Contribute to the planning and execution of sustainability projects and initiatives.
Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement in ESG performance and participate in developing strategies to achieve sustainability targets.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, environmental studies, business, or related disciplines (first-class).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
Flexible to travel within our various Locations.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
Strong research capabilities to stay informed about ESG trends, regulations, and emerging sustainability issues.
Familiarity with relevant ESG regulations, guidelines, and reporting frameworks is desirable.
