The Subsea Wells Superintendent role is designed to achieve the following objectives
Guarantee personnel and equipment availability and mobilization offshore to the rig & OIMR/ LWI vessels, minimal
NPTs during operations and HSE incidents.
Ensure that all operational requirements are proactively managed
Monitor SPS contractors' performance (KPI) for service delivery for offshore operations, equipment maintenance etc
SERVICE DIMENSIONS
The Subsea Well Superintendent ensures full compliance with COMPANY's policies, standards, code of conduct, and HSE requirements while providing operational leadership across subsea activities.
The role provides technical support to the onshore subsea/completion service base team and SPS contractors (OneSubsea, TechnipFMC, Exprotech, Diamould, Fugro-impROV, Halliburton, OAL) and validates subsea and workover operations to ensure well delivery objectives are met.
Drive personal and team compliance with HSE rules, company standards, and ethical requirements.
Provide supervisory oversight to the offshore subsea supervisors, while supporting the Drilling / Rig Superintendents to ensure safe and efficient operations and wells delivery.
Supervise up to 15 service contractor personnel per operation (up to 4 x offshore subsea supervisors are direct reports).
Support delivery of 8-10 deepwater wells annually through effective planning and offshore coordination.
Work collaboratively with HSE, FOPS, HQ, C&P, finance, logistics, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operational execution.
HSE:
Demonstrates personal commitment to COMPANY's EP's HSE Policy.
Maintains awareness of and ensures compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards.
Actively participates in Company safety awareness/initiative schemes and audits to ensure the contractors under his/her responsibility are compliant.
S/He is part of the on-site management emergency response team and provides technical knowledge
Ensures and verifies that a valid PTW has been compiled and put in place for each operational task, with all associated risks captured.
Ensures continuous reporting of safety and environmental concerns/incidents within his/her team.
Is certified (IWCF) and contributes to the prevention of COMPANY's biggest industrial risk (Loss of well control/ well blow out)
Acts as the Focal point for Safety, technical and operational/maintenance for all subsea activities (including but not limited to SERS/WERP & BOCP procedure updates) at ONSHORE OFFICE LOCATION
SERVICE CONTENT:
Focal point for all offshore operations and provide support to Onne Subsea Superintendent and completion Engineer for onshore preparatory aspects that impact upon readiness, maintenance, and mobilization of personnel/equipment to the rig, OIMR & LWI vessels (based on up-to-date operational schedules).
