The successful candidate will be responsible for driving design excellence, managing project delivery from concept to completion, and leading a team of architects, designers, and technical staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the architectural design studio, ensuring high-quality output across all projects
Oversee the development of architectural concepts, designs, and construction documentation
Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers and other consultants
Ensure compliance with Nigerian building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction
Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities
Mentor and develop junior architects and design staff
Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders
Utilize industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) for design and documentation
Maintain quality assurance processes for all architectural deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch, or equivalent)
Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in architectural design and project management
Registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) – mandatory
Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) is an added advantage
Proven experience in leading design teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong knowledge of Nigerian building regulations, planning laws, and construction practices
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design software
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated portfolio of completed projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use)
