The Sales Manager – Pharmaceuticals will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and managing key customer relationships across the pharmaceutical sector, with additional focus on HORECA and confectionery channels where applicable. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing distributors, and ensuring consistent achievement of revenue and volume targets in line with company objectives.
Job Details
Drive sales growth across pharmaceutical products and related portfolio
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets
Manage relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, HORECA clients, and confectionery manufacturers where applicable
Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
Conduct regular market intelligence to understand competitor activity and industry trends
Manage and support distributor and key account performance
Ensure effective product positioning, promotion, and brand visibility
Monitor sales performance and prepare periodic sales reports
Coordinate with marketing and technical teams to support product promotion and customer engagement
Ensure timely collections and healthy credit management in line with company policy
Participate in negotiations and close high-value deals
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards in pharmaceutical sales
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Business Administration, or related field
5–8 years relevant sales experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG/ingredient-related industries
Strong advantage: experience across pharmaceuticals, HORECA, and confectionery industries
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts
Strong knowledge of distributor and channel management
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
Ability to analyze market trends and identify business opportunities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Willingness to travel within assigned territory
