Sales Executive (Ibadan) at ReelFruit
ReelFruit’s had its humble beginnings in a small apartment in Surulere, Lagos. In 2012, our founder birthed the idea of a new snack company; A first-of-its-kind that would offer dried fruit snacks, made in Nigeria but sold to the world. With this dream in mind, we launched our first range of dried mango and pineapple in March 2013, our first lucky break came from Prince Ebeano Supermarket, Lekki, who stocked our products – and the rest is history.
Today, we have a range of over 10 SKUs retailed in over 250 stores nationwide and have served our snacks on local and international airlines, schools, hotels and restaurants. The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth and market penetration by generating leads, converting prospects, maintaining customer relationships, and executing regional sales strategies in assigned territories (Ibadan ). This role is crucial in supporting ReelFruit’s expansion objectives and ensuring visibility and product performance in the field.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and research potential clients within assigned territory.
Qualify leads and determine conversion potential.
Develop and execute a structured prospecting plan to attract new clients.
Relationship Building & Account Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Understand customer needs and propose solutions that align with their business goals.
Manage accounts to drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Industry Knowledge & Product Expertise
Stay up to date with industry trends and market dynamics.
Maintain a strong understanding of ReelFruit’s products and offerings.
Sales Calls & Presentations
Conduct effective discovery calls and in-person presentations.
Handle objections and negotiate contracts with a focus on closing deals.
Sales Strategy Implementation
Execute strategic sales plans as defined by the Sales Manager.
Gather feedback from clients and analyze competitor activity to refine sales tactics.
Performance & Reporting
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Analyze sales performance data to identify gaps and opportunities.
Submit accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts and reports.
Educational Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
HND/B.Sc./B.A in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Minimum of 3 years proven experience in FMCG sales (dried fruits or food industry preferred)
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to analyze and solve problems using data
Target-driven, self-motivated, and results-focused
Collaborative mindset and strong work ethic
Proficient in reporting and performance tracking
