The Sales Executive supports leadership and retail team members in planning and executing strategic initiatives designed to elevate sales, drive revenue, and expand brand presence.
This role is essential in building lasting customer relationships, offering personalized styling consultations, maintaining inventory integrity across physical and online channels, and delivering set sales quotas through exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities
In-Store Customer Experience & Consultation:
Serve as a polite, stylish, and attentive primary point of contact for clients both in-store and online.
Greet arriving customers warmly, understand their garment preferences, guide them to appropriate collections, and assist in fitting sessions.
Assess individual client preferences through keen observation to offer personal styling consultation.
Cultivate genuine brand affinity and emotional engagement between clients and the fashion house.
Maintain thorough brand knowledge, including house history, design heritage, and active collection details.
Client Acquisition & Business Development:
Conduct outbound communications with prospective leads and execute structured follow-ups with existing clients.
Develop individual and team sales tactics to optimize conversion rates and revenue growth.
Perform cost-benefit analyses for prospective buyers to recommend optimal purchasing options.
Actively promote specific collections, seasonal discounts, and ongoing promotional campaigns.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals through consistent sales execution.
Account Management & Customer Relationship Management:
Address sales inquiries, status updates, and customer concerns promptly.
Prioritize and escalate complex client queries or complaints to senior management as required.
Foster positive client relationships to maximize customer lifetime value (LTV).
Inventory & Store Operations:
Update inventory daily in the inventory management system to ensure complete accuracy across all colorways and sizes for store and online displays.
Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams to ensure unified presentation across sales channels.
Actively participate in ongoing professional development, integrating feedback to refine personal performance.
Qualifications
Education: OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Experience: 1–2 years of proven track record in a retail sales environment, preferably within fashion or high-end consumer goods.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Point of Sale (POS) platforms, CRM tools, and basic inventory tracking applications.
Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; strong telephone and email etiquette.
Competency: High persuasive ability, strong negotiation techniques, time management, and presentation skills (PowerPoint/white papers).
