Responsibilities
Achieving Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume, value, and margin targets.
Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new sales prospects and opportunities, which includes generating leads, making cold calls, and establishing new business with clients like builders, architects, contractors, and dealers.
Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers by understanding their needs, providing support, and ensuring satisfaction.
Product Expertise and Demonstrations: Possessing deep knowledge of the company's paint products, their application techniques, and technical specifications to provide expert advice and conduct product demonstrations.
Market Analysis: Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities (pricing, promotions, etc.), and customer demands to develop effective sales strategies.
Sales Planning and Reporting: Developing territory sales plans, maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Customer Service and Issue Resolution: Handling customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally, often collaborating with the technical support team to provide solutions.
Marketing and Promotions: Assisting with promotional campaigns, attending trade exhibitions and events, and organizing initiatives like painter meets to build brand awareness.
