Project Logistics Lead II at Scruples Resources

Consultancy Services, Resource Development, Skill Acquisition and provision of Human Resource for all sectors of the Nigerian economy.MAIN FUNCTIONS

Serve as logistics interface between Project Management Team (PMT) and Contractor organization to ensure logistics planning and execution requirements are considered in early Project planning. Assure timely communication of status and plans between Project and Functional Management. Coordinate logistics resources for pre-Gate 2 Company project planning. Lead development of logistics input into pre-Gate 2 and Gate 3 project deliverables. Provide logistics leadership and oversight throughout execution

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to all Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2:

Maintain an overview and analyze the project contractors logistics cost versus activity levels in relation to typical local service rates.
Manage logistics coordination between the various project contractors where activities clash or create bottleneck situation.
Manage consistent application of logistics standards and requirement compliance across the various project contractors, including their logistics service subcontractors.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in logistics planning and execution, construction, safety, and procurement
BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or other Technical degree; or equivalent technical experience
Willing to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide functional support
