Pipeline Security Supervisor at Proten

Responsible for pipeline security operations spread across Rivers, Imo state and future expansion.
Supervise a team of surveillance contractors and staff on ground to secure the pipeline, manifold and valve stations.
Planning security surveillance of company ROW and secure the assets and preventing any kind of encroachment.
Coordinate with operations team for pipeline repair job and provide security support during maintenance area.
Able to carry out threat assessments on proactive basis in area of operations and plan for mitigation measures.
Ensure risk mitigations measures are in place at company ROW.
Able to coordinate with GSA for repair and deployment work.
Ensure smooth product transfer and deployment of adequate mitigation measures to stop sabotage/pilferage of the product.
Ensure ROW is always free of vegetation and coordinate with bush clearance contractors for cleaning.
Able to effectively maintain strong liaison with local community’s leaders falling in company pipeline ROW area and coordinate with community office in case of issue.
Maintain records of security incidents and contribute to incident reporting.
Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and procedures.
Able to carry out drone surveillance in area of operations.
Timely processing of contractors invoices and handle administrative issues.
Conduct training for surveillance contractor team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
10-15 Years of experience in pipeline security operations
Very strong Observations and reporting skills
Good Interpersonal (able to liaison with communities, GSA etc.) and strong verbal & written communication skills
Computer knowledge (able to work on outlook, MS office)
Very High level of professionalism and integrity
Flexible traveling approach in area of operations.
Understanding of threat and risk assessment.
Possession of certifications in security will be advantage.
