We are looking for a proactive Operations Officer to manage and optimize daily logistics activities. This role is ideal for someone who can coordinate supply chain processes, ensure efficient movement of goods, maintain accurate documentation, and keep operations running smoothly. You will be a key point of coordination, ensuring seamless execution across freight, clearance, and delivery functions.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily logistics activities including shipment processing, documentation, and tracking.
Manage import and export handling processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare and verify shipping documents, customs documentation, and regulatory paperwork.
Liaise with shipping lines, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively address delays or disruptions.
Maintain accurate operational records and update tracking systems.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements for a better workflow.
Support compliance with safety, legal, and company policies.
Assist in cost control by monitoring operational expenses and resource usage.
Requirements
2–4 years’ experience in logistics operations, import/export handling, or supply chain coordination.
Practical knowledge of shipping documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory procedures.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
Good understanding of freight processes (air and sea).
Familiarity with logistics tracking tools and operational systems.
