Assist with the development and implementation of the Bank’s and Group’s partnerships and corporate events strategies;
Monitor developments in the sponsorship of corporate events by carrying out environmental scans to ensure that the Bank is abreast with all highly sensitive news/developments;
Provide analysis for all information gathered on sponsorship and events and make comments that will help management in decision making;
Develop engagement strategy, creative approach, implementation plan, and execution of the Bank’s and Group’s Corporate events, including day-of-event management;
Conceptualise, design, and create high-profile events that portray the Group and Bank in a positive light to media, public officials and other key stakeholders;
Coordinate staffing requirements, briefings, Retail Marketing Teams and Media colleagues to promote the Group’s and Bank’s event;
Provide strategic guidance, approach, consultation, budget, and creative direction for new corporate events, and other experiences;
Produce detailed proposals for events – timelines, venues, vendors/agencies, staffing, and budget;
Negotiate the best price on the Bank’s sponsorship/events using the Bank’s policy on comparative quotes from different vendors;
Monitor the Bank’s brand/visibility at events to ensure consistency and handle competition as this will aid to review how the Bank is performing compared to other banks;
Work with other units/departments within the Bank to ensure standard delivery of the Bank’s events;
Identify sponsorship platforms that would generate revenue leads for the Bank using the sponsorship filter as measurement metrics;
Develop approach and methods for evaluating and measuring event success;
Coordinate venue management and supervise elements of events outsourced to event managers, consultants and agencies;
Perform post-event evaluation; including data entry and analysis, and producing reports for event stakeholders;
Manage communications and promotional materials for Bank-owned and special events;
Maintain the security of all Information entrusted to staff and comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Minimum Education:
First Degree in any discipline with requisite experience.
Experience
Minimum of 7 years cognate experience in Marketing/Corporate Communications and/or Sponsorship and Events
role in blue chip companies or Advertising/PR/Journalism.
Professional membership of APCON, NIM, NIPR
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
Ability to work with minimal supervision
