Media/Communication Assistant at DNALC Nigeria
The DNALC Nigeria is a model molecular biology instruction center that caters to the need for a curriculum-based hands-on laboratory experience in the continent. it is sited at the permanent campus of Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu state, Nigeria. This area is peaceful, has a conducive atmosphere for learning with beautiful natural scenery that is only available in the southeastern region. This is the next step in the collaborative efforts and support of the DNA Learning Center, the educational arm of the famous Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York, United States of America. The DNALC Nigeria is supporting science education by providing secondary and college students and their educators with the requisite training and tools to explore more about molecular biology and biotechnology in the classroom.
Media/Communication Assistant supports the organization’s communication, publicity, and media relations activities. The role involves creating content, managing communication channels, promoting organizational programs, and maintaining a positive public image.

The Media/Communication Assistant reports directly to the Communications designated supervisor.

Core Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.)
Prior experience in laboratory work or teaching is preferred
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards
Good communication skills
Attention to detail and organizational ability
Computer skills for reporting and documentation
