Job Summary

The Inventory Control Assistant supports the warehouse, supply chain, or operations team by maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring smooth flow of materials.
This role is critical for preventing shortages, reducing excess stock, and improving overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Tracking: Record and update stock levels in inventory management systems.
Stock Audits: Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
Data Entry: Input receipts, transfers, and adjustments into databases.
Order Processing: Support purchasing and supply chain teams by verifying stock availability.
Warehouse Coordination: Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure timely movement of goods.
Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly inventory reports for management.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

Proficient in Zoho software.
Ability to analyze inventory data and identify trends.
Problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies.
