GTM / Business Development Generalist at Veraclins Tech Solutions
Veraclins Tech Solutions is a product company headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. We build our own software products (Edulinks.ng, NairaBiz, Pitch Prophet, and others in the pipeline) and take on client engineering work across commerce, product and platform, and applied AI. We work with a measurable-outcomes mindset and back our claims with receipts: numbers, ship dates, and working software. International client work is billed in USD; our products are built for Nigerian businesses first. This environment suits people who like clear scopes, senior teammates, and measurable impact.The GTM / Business Development Generalist is a full-time, hybrid role based in Abuja (mostly remote, with in-person work as needed). You'll identify and qualify new business, nurture leads, and run end-to-end go-to-market for Veraclins' commerce, platform, and applied-AI work. Day-to-day: research target markets, prospect and run outreach, prepare and sharpen pitch materials, and coordinate discovery calls and demos. You'll work with engineering leadership to shape value propositions, contribute to written scopes, support pricing, and track performance against commercial targets. You'll also keep the CRM clean, produce concise pipeline and performance reports, and represent Veraclins in conversations with prospective partners and clients.
Qualifications
3+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, growth, or product marketing, selling software, SaaS, or technical services.
Proven ability to source leads and turn cold or warm conversations into qualified opportunities, with the follow-up discipline to run a pipeline without being chased.
Strong written and verbal communication: clear emails, proposals, pitches, and scopes.
Comfortable with CRM hygiene and basic pipeline and sales analytics.
Good understanding of Nigerian business realities, especially SMEs, professional services, education, finance, and tech-enabled businesses.
Fluent with AI tools for research, writing, outreach, and sales operations.
Comfortable in an early-stage environment where process is still being built, working closely with senior engineers toward measurable outcomes.
Based in Abuja (hybrid role, mostly remote).
Nice to have
Experience selling B2B software, SaaS, or technical services;
Familiarity with e-commerce, applied AI, or product/platform engineering;
A degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field is welcome but not required; equivalent practical experience counts.
