About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee – Supply Chain (Warehouse Officer) to join our growing Supply Chain team.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, stock reconciliation, documentation, and logistics coordination while gaining hands-on experience across key areas of supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and warehouse transactions.
Assist with regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
Monitor stock levels and promptly report shortages, excesses, damages, or discrepancies.
Ensure goods are properly labelled, stored, and arranged in accordance with warehouse procedures.
Prepare and maintain relevant warehouse documentation, including Goods Received Notes (GRNs), dispatch records, stock cards, and inventory reports.
Work closely with procurement, sales, finance, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth movement of materials and products.
Assist in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and warehouse operating procedures.
Support the implementation of proper housekeeping and warehouse organization standards.
Assist with the use and maintenance of inventory/warehouse management systems.
Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing losses, improving efficiency, and optimizing inventory.
Prepare routine warehouse and inventory reports for management.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain/Warehouse Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
Must have completed the NYSC programme and possess a valid NYSC discharge/exemption certificate.
1–2 years of relevant work experience in warehousing, inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or a related role.
Good understanding of basic warehouse and inventory management principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop a long-term career in Supply Chain.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
