The officer will be responsible for ensuring bank and asset reconciliation, portfolio valuation and financial reporting for the funds under management
Job Details
Ensure daily bank reconciliation of all institutional schemes and portfolios, proprietary funds, mutual funds and private funds.
Ensure accurate and prompt portfolio valuation of all institutional schemes and portfolios, proprietary funds, mutual funds and private funds.
Ensure monthly portfolio reconciliation with third party confirmation e.g CSCS, S4, Custodian’s PV.
Monitor and ensure corporate actions are accounted for timely and accurately on the core investment accounting application
Ensure accurate monthly and quarterly SEC reports latest 5th and 10th respectively
Ensure the preparation and payment of all fee invoices latest 10th day of the subsequent quarter
Requirements
Good financial accounting and reporting skills
Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office Applications
Team player
Good communication skills (oral & written)
Bsc. Accounting (Preferably an accounting graduate)
