The Field Operations Officer will be responsible for onboarding and supporting merchants/sellers, ensuring smooth marketplace operations, and coordinating field activities. The role involves regular visits to markets and business locations, ensuring quality standards, and supporting order fulfillment processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboard and verify new merchants/sellers on the platform
Conduct regular visits to markets and business locations
Support product listing and seller setup processes
Coordinate order fulfillment and logistics activities
Perform basic quality checks on products before dispatch
Prepare and submit daily operational reports
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and partners
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess an internet-enabled device (smartphone or tablet)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in the field and visiting market locations
Basic knowledge of smartphones and digital tools
Highly organized, reliable, and proactive
Prior experience in sales, operations, or field roles is an added advantage
