Farm Operations Manager at Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc

Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc is an integrated Nigerian agro-industrial company operating across key segments of the agricultural value chain, including poultry, aquaculture, oil palm, crop production and animal feed, with a growing focus on processing and value addition.
The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of farm operations, administration, staff coordination, reporting and operational management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and coordinate daily farm operations and activities.
Supervise farm personnel and ensure effective utilisation of staff.
Monitor farm production activities, resources, equipment and operational processes.
Maintain accurate farm records, documentation and operational reports.
Prepare regular reports on farm activities, performance and operational issues for management.
Coordinate administrative activities relating to farm operations.
Monitor staff schedules, attendance, productivity and compliance with company procedures in collaboration with HR.
Ensure proper maintenance and utilisation of farm equipment, facilities and other resources.
Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions to management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures and operational standards.
Work closely with the Farm Manager, Supervisors and other departments to achieve operational targets.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate must:

Possess a bachelor’s degree/HND in Agriculture or a related Agricultural discipline.
Have a minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience.
Have proven experience working in a farm organisation, commercial farm or agribusiness environment.
Possess a strong administrative and operational management background.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Be able to prepare, analyse and interpret operational reports and spreadsheets.
Have strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to effectively supervise and coordinate farm personnel.
Be willing and available to work in our farm environment in Ijebu-Itele, Ogun State.
