We are seeking a competent and results-driven Engineer to provide technical oversight on our construction and property development projects, ensuring quality, safety, compliance and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor construction activities on site.
Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and standards.
Review drawings and identify technical issues or discrepancies.
Coordinate with architects, quantity surveyors, contractors and consultants.
Monitor workmanship, materials, quality and construction progress.
Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
Identify and resolve technical and construction-related challenges.
Monitor project schedules and support timely delivery.
Review contractors’ work and ensure proper execution.
Assist with material requirements and technical documentation.
Promote compliance with health and safety requirements.
Provide technical advice to management when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or a related discipline.
3–5 years’ relevant experience in construction or real estate development.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of project coordination and quality control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is an advantage.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple activities.
COREN or relevant professional registration is an advantage.
Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
