The Driver provides reliable and safe driving services while ensuring compliance with local traffic rules and UNICEF protocols.
Drivers are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, adaptability and protocol awareness. They are also expected to support administrative tasks and engage in self-directed learning during non-driving periods.
The Driver demonstrates a client-oriented approach, courtesy, tact, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively with people of diverse national and cultural backgrounds.

Minimum Requirements
Education: Secondary Education along with a valid drivers’s licence and knowledge of the local driving rules and regulations
Work Experience: Minimum two years of work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record is required.
Skills: Safe driving, Defensive driving, Vehicle maintenance, GPS navigation, Route planning, Security protocols, Radio communication, Emergency response, Record keeping, Mobile apps.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required.
Desirables
Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chines, French, Russian or Spanish) or local language of the duty station is considered an asset.
Experience in airport protocol and remote field driving experience.
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
