Leveraging more than a decade of experience, the company was formed by the divestment of the telecommunications services division of Telnet Nigeria Limited and has been in operation for many years. ipNX currently provides a range of communications and IT services to Corporate organizations within Nigeria on its IP (Internet Protocol) based communications network using both radio and satellite communications technologies. As part of its growth strategy, ipNX seeks to also extend its services to small and medium sized businesses and residential customers. In the long term, ipNX has determined that it needs also to have a strategic presence in the wire line market to ensure that we will be able to provide future services, which require high bandwidth in the last mile.
Job Summary:
The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services for staff, equipment, and materials. The role supports daily business operations by ensuring timely movement of personnel and telecom-related assets while maintaining high standards of vehicle care, safety, and compliance with road regulations.
Responsibilities
Transportation & Logistics
Safely transport staff, visitors, and management to designated locations as required.
Convey telecommunications equipment, tools, and materials to project and service sites.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off in line with operational schedules.
Vehicle Maintenance & Management
Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel level, oil, water, brakes, tires, lights).
Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained at all times.
Report faults promptly and follow up on repairs and servicing schedules.
Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks (mileage, fuel usage, trips).
Compliance & Safety
Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Ensure valid documentation (driver’s license, insurance, vehicle papers) is up to date.
Observe all safety and security protocols, especially when transporting equipment.
Avoid accidents and minimize risks through defensive driving practices.
Administrative Support
Assist with basic administrative or logistics tasks when required.
Support errands such as document delivery, bank runs, and official collections
Qualifications/Experience
Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification
Must reside around Victoria Island, Lagos.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 3–5 years’ professional driving experience
Experience working in a corporate or telecom environment is an advantage
Good knowledge of local routes and road networks
